The vineyards
Located throughout the entire territory of San Marino
The vineyards are located at different altitudes, from 50 m above sea level in the Dogana area, up to 400 m asl in the Montegiardino area. Different orientations depending on the variety, North-East East-South-East South-South West, clay soils limestone clay, limestone arenaceous, winds from the sea and the Apennines, an infinite number of different micro-climates and terroirs.
The harvests begin in early August and end in early October and follow a gradual trend depending on the ripeness of the grapes which takes place for the same variety, even with differences of 15 days between the upper part of the Republic and the lower part.

Le Bosche
This is one of the most popular areas of the Republic. Here are Sangiovese, Biancale, Ribolla, Chardonnay and Moscato. The clay soils, the warm temperatures allow an optimal maturation of the grapes, the wines coming from these vineyards are powerful and structured.

Montegiardino
Here we find some of the vineyards at the highest altitudes in San Marino. They are soils rich in sandstone that give elegance and drinkability to Sangiovese, Merlot, Ribolla and Pinot Nero.

Montepulito
536/5000
In the area of Faetano Alta, Monte Pulito represents an exceptional case of particularity, in fact the winds that blow during the whole vegetative season and the temperatures that at night go down considerably to make the vineyards located here unique.
In the south-facing area on Pliocene soils characterized by clays and sandstone mature and long-lived structured Sangiovese, in the part exposed to the North-East the winds coming from the Adriatic and the calcareous soils allow to enhance the aromaticity of ribolla and chardonnay.

5 Vie
In the area of Falciano Alta, the 5 Vie are the places where the full Southern exposure allows the Sangiovese to express its maximum power.
In this part of the Republic, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc also mature very well.

Corianino
An area rich in vineyards in a suggestive and little known corner of San Marino, in a valley sheltered from the winds, the hot summers allow the Sangiovese, Biancale and Moscato grapes to ripen.

Valdragone
In the shadow of the cliff of Mount Titano that watches over the vineyards right behind the winery, they are among the oldest vineyards of San Marino.
Freshness and drinkability are unmistakable characteristics of sangiovese from the Valdragone vineyards.
